After browsing through schools which offer in their advertisement “Guaranteed pass”, “Air conditioned Classroom” etc. Parents get baffled and confused while Selection the school and often make a mistake by choosing a school which provides comfort and luxury to students rather than good quality education.

EDUCARE, DON’T MERCY TEACH
A student begins his/her educational journey from nursery School. The next stage is the primary level in which most student ally have a smooth sailing.
But once he/she or in the high school especially for those who have barely scraped through, trouble begins. He/she suddenly has to cope with a drastic educational policy that either forces him to repeat a class or drop it.
While the young mind is virtually left with no one to turn to parent are often without any possible answer to big question. What did the school teach for ten long years as the child could not secure pass percentage?
Left with no other option, parent and guardian are forced to look for a new school for their child.
Often it is not an easy task at hand. The adolescent rebels against the burden of the rigorous educational policy and the pressure and trauma of the sudden change get the better of his health and sanity. The situation aggravates when parents add to the child’s worry by taking him to task for his/her failures or inabilities.
I have time again through, to why a child fails to pass out after ten long years of schooling often at a reputed institution? It’s only obvious that the present educational set up with its vicious system of vested business interests rules in their ulterior motive to min millions at the cost of minor developing minds.
Moreover such school breed mediocrity and often have unqualified teachers who agree to a meagre pay packet. Most of these teachers loose patience with slow learners and are often over attentive with to meritorious ones.
A good teacher should take the trouble to guide both laggards and quick learners. Can’t they take some extra trouble to help strugglers and ensure that they at least get pass percentage?
We must remember that student’s failure . It Brings to light the lapses on the part of not only the teacher but also the school administration and the head of the institution has share of responsibilities.
The practice of handing a transfer certificate to a student if he or she fails to pass out must be done away with as soon as possible. It ruins a child’s carrer and leaves a black mark on his personality even before he has learnt to face the world. It has a lasting effect that may often ruin child’s future. These surely must be a better and more human way to tackle the situation.
One Must Understand that we are not born alike, not our aptitudes and abilities the same.
We may believe in the survival of the fittest but we must also give others a chance. This is the something that is all the more essential in this world of cut throat competition.
Perhaps if we have understand the thin border line between teaching and educating, It will certainly make a big difference to the quality of the student we provide and standard of education today.
